DESCRIPTION: A soft, relatively low-strength, straight/close-grained, medium-soft-even-textured wood. Pale yellow to reddish brown, light honey colored & may easily be stained to resemble practically any of the most expensive hardwoods. The wood is rarely wider than 6" due to the small size of the trees. COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Pacific Coast of North America (United States); a west coast hardwood.
